Description

You cannot coach what you have not understood.

This course focuses on client assessment: using a range of techniques to identify each client’s needs, goals, and potential barriers before and during coaching. Through scenarios and challenges, you will practice turning what you learn in assessment into clear, focused, values-aligned goals.

Why it matters: Decades of goal-setting research show that specific, challenging goals lead to higher performance than vague “do your best” goals (Locke & Latham, 2002, American Psychologist). Strong assessment is what makes those specific goals possible.
